Terms & Conditions for Educators on Classworks

Welcome to Classworks, an innovative Indian EdTech platform dedicated to making quality education accessible through technology. These Terms and Conditions govern your participation as an educator on our platform. By joining Classworks, you agree to abide by the following terms.
PART A: Who Can Teach on Classworks
1. Open to All Teaching Levels
Classworks welcomes educators at all stages of their careers — whether you are:

A new educator looking to start your journey in online teaching.

An experienced teacher or professor with years of subject matter expertise.

A content creator who has created educational videos or tutorials on other platforms.
If you’re passionate about teaching and have the ability to explain concepts clearly, you are welcome to join us.
2. Areas of Teaching
Educators can contribute to various academic and skill-based domains. Some of the fields Classworks currently supports include:
Academic Boards:

CBSE Board – Classes 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th.

ICSE Board – Middle and High School levels.

State Boards – Based on demand and curriculum.
Competitive Exams:

JEE Mains / JEE Advanced (Engineering entrance exams).

NEET (Medical entrance exams).

Foundation Courses – For Olympiads, NTSE, and KVPY.
Programming & Tech:

Programming languages: Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, and others.

Tools & platforms: Web Development, App Development, Data Structures, AI/ML, Robotics, etc.
You may also introduce new categories that align with Classworks’ mission to provide diverse and high-quality education.
3. Cross-Platform Educators Welcome
If you are already teaching on other platforms (e.g., YouTube, Udemy, Unacademy, etc.), you may still partner with Classworks, as long as:

You have ownership or usage rights of your content.

You grant Classworks permission to use your content in line with this agreement.
PART B: Transparent & High Revenue Sharing
1. Simple Revenue Sharing Model
At Classworks, we follow a transparent and educator-friendly revenue structure.
We share 92% of all course revenue directly with our educators.
❗️Classworks retains only 8% for platform maintenance, student support, and technical infrastructure.
2. Why This Matters
This model makes Classworks one of the highest paying platforms in the EdTech industry. We believe educators deserve the largest portion of earnings because they create the core value for students.
3. Payout Schedule

Revenue is calculated on a monthly basis.

Earnings are visible in the Educator Dashboard.

Payouts are made through bank transfer, UPI, or other preferred payment methods.
No hidden fees, no surprise deductions — just clear, fair payment for your contribution.
PART C: Educator Policy & Platform Benefits
1. Course Control and Permissions
🔒 Classworks does not have permission to publish or promote your course without your clear, written consent.
You retain full control and ownership over your educational content. You can request modifications, updates, or removal of your content at any time.
2. Zero-Cost Tools and Support
🛠️ All teaching tools and publishing support are 100% free for educators.
Classworks provides every educator with:

A dedicated login page and dashboard for teaching.

Access to Classworks Studio for:

Live classes.
-
Uploading recorded content.
-

A team of editors and designers to:
-
Format and polish your videos.
-
Create PDF notes from your live lectures.
-
Assist in course structuring and publishing.

🎥 If you already have recorded lectures, you can share them with us. Classworks will publish them at no cost to you.
3. Freedom & Flexibility
You are free to teach from anywhere:

From your own studio or home setup.

From Classworks Studio (if available in your region).

Or even by submitting previously recorded content from other platforms (with appropriate rights).
Classworks does not charge any fee to join or stay on the platform as an educator.
4. Code of Conduct & Compliance
As an educator, you agree to:

Uphold academic integrity and deliver high-quality content.
-
Avoid sharing content that violates copyright laws or promotes hate speech, misinformation, or illegal activities.

Follow the curriculum guidelines provided, if any, and ensure accuracy in educational material.
